Youth Leadership Foundation

The Youth Leadership Foundation (YLF) draws together all of our award winning work with young people.  This includes a wide range of leadership, empowerment and personal skills training.

The YLF development programme includes empowerment and skills training covering a whole range of subjects.  These include conflict resolution and anger management; anti-bullying sessions for inmates at Glen Parva Young Offenders Institution and volunteering projects and peer mentoring, to name just a few.  Our work is special as much of it is led by, and for, young people.  The work is partially funded by the Rank Foundation, who actively work to promote quality youth work and encourage the involvement of young people in their communities.

Diversity Hub's work is growing stronger as more young people work with us. We have a big impact on enabling them to make the changes that are necessary to change themselves, their communities and the world.

The Youth Leadership Foundation newsletters below feature case studies and news on the work of the foundation. If you would like to find out how to sponsor or support this work, please call 0116 222 9978 and speak with Margaret Brough the Projects Manager.
